Lake Breeze flies with Pope!
Lake Breeze has been blessed!The Lake Breeze 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon has been selected on Qantas to make the Papal journey back to Rome. After the pontiff's highly publicised visit to Sydney, Pope Benedict XVI returns today aboard Qantas.
Winemaker Greg Follett says: "It's quite an honour to be selected on such an important flight. Everyone at the winery was really excited to hear our Cabernet was on the Pope's plane - it's quite a talking point around the district!"
Selection on this prestigious trip follows the 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon being awarded the Best Cabernet Sauvignon Trophy at the Sydney Royal Wine Show earlier this year.
