Kilikanoon wins Best of Nation 2010 San Francisco International Wine Competition
Three Golds, a clutch of silver and Best of Nation.Kilikanoon demonstrates again that boutique is beautiful at the prestigious 2010 San Francisco International Wine Competition.
2007 Covenant Shiraz, 2007 Prodigal Grenache and 2007 Medley Grenache/Shiraz/Mourvèdre all scored gold with 5 silvers including 2 for Killerman’s Run, our entry level wines.
The 2007 drought vintage has turned out to be a beauty for us, despite exceptionally low yields and difficult ripening conditions. The wines just need a bit more time to really open up!
The 2007 Covenant also recently scored highly (93 points) and featured in a very positive story about Australian regionality by Harvey Steiman in Wine Spectator.
